waterproof point and shoot camera

I never want to risk damaging my good cameras in the rain, but I live in a very rainy climate and finally decided I really should get a waterproof camera. After reading reviews of a number of cameras, I realized that it wasn’t possible to get all the features I desired (such as manual exposure and RAW file capability) in a compact, inexpensive and waterproof camera, but I really do think that the best camera is the one you have with you, so I let go of those expectations and eventually decided on the Canon PowerShot D10. All things considered, I think the resulting photos are just fine.
