I’ve always liked lunaria, since long before I knew that this was the plant’s name. I remember seeing the long stalks of silvery-white dried papery disks in autumn bouquets. We called them silver dollars. Other common names are money plant, moonwort, and honesty. The flowers are a delicate, shimmery purple, and very pretty, but it’s the seed pods that I like best. They’re flat and round, and beautiful when the sun shines through them.
