This beautiful garden, created in Vancouver in the mid-1980s, is the first of its kind made outside of China. The snake sculpture in the water was constructed of willow branches and was made to celebrate the Year of the Snake. I visited the garden in mid-April as the spring flowers were emerging. I’m looking forward to returning on a warmer day when I can see more of the carp swimming in the ponds. To learn more about the garden or find out times to visit, see their website.
